Taco Seasoning for Gift Giving

Chances are you don’t want to make taco seasoning one use at a time. It makes so much more sense to have a jar of pre-made seasoning. This recipe makes about 1 cup. Three tablespoons equals one packet of the purchase seasoning.

Taco Seasoning for Gift Giving

• 1/4 cup and 2 tbsp chili powder
• 1-1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1-1/2 tsp onion powder
• 1-1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
• 1-1/2 tsp dried oregano
• 1 tbsp paprika
• 3 tbsp ground cumin
• 2 tbsp sea salt
• 2 tbsp black pepper

Combine all the seasonings and store in a dry place.

Oh no! I didn’t plan well again! No taco seasoning in the house and I am making enchiladas. What do I do?!?!

These were my thoughts about 5 minutes into browning my ground beef. I had already shredded my cheese, heated my beans. Too far into this to turn back. Thank goodness for the foodies that abound on the internet. One quick google search lead me to this recipe, which I threw together in 2 minutes flat.

One recipe = one seasoning packet.

Taco Seasoning

• 1 tbsp chili powder

• 1/2 tsp paprika
• 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp black pepper
