Last year, I moved to the North of France, and decided to look up what ingredients and special foods I would find there. It turned out there were about 50 different cheeses (mostly cow’s milk), including the stinkiest cheeses I have ever smelled (but stinky isn’t necessarily strong…), like this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vieux-Boulogne
You must try Manchego Cheese from Spain! It’s a little pricey here in the US but so worth it.
I shall look for it next time I’m at the grocery.
